Bloom is a company that sells children’s clothing, toys, and home decor, and has been operating in Cambridge since 1976. Our story began with a small brick-and-mortar store founded by Annabelle and John Carter, inspired to create something beautiful and lasting for British families. At first, they focused on handcrafted wooden toys, but over the years, the selection expanded to include children’s clothing and home interior products.
In 1998, we made a major transition by moving fully online, allowing us to offer our products to a wider audience both in the UK and internationally. Although we closed our physical store, we kept our warehouse store in London, where customers can still pick up their orders.
As a family business, Bloom has always invested in the quality and durability of its products. Wooden toys are especially close to our hearts, and we use only sustainably sourced wood in their production. This ensures not only safety and longevity but also supports sustainable development and the wellbeing of our planet.
In 2022, we celebrated our 46th anniversary by refreshing our brand. The new look reflects a modern and playful approach to children’s products, while honoring our roots and commitment to quality and sustainability.
Bloom has grown over the years, but our core values remain the same. We aim to offer products that stand the test of time and bring joy to both children and their parents.
